As the famous band, TLC, once said, "Don't go chasing waterfalls" well, we want you to do the exact opposite! Here is a list of the best waterfalls North Carolina has to offer!

1. Looking Glass Falls

This is a great waterfall for anyone traveling along US 276. Located in Pisgah National forest, this is a great spot to bring the family. You can enjoy swimming and relaxing along side the falls.

2. High Falls

Located inside DuPont Forest, this is a beautiful and breathtaking waterfall. It is a short walking distance right across the road from the visitor center.

3. Whitewater Falls

Whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter, Whitewater Falls is stunning. Located inside the Nantahala National Forest in Asheville NC this 400 foot waterfall is just for looks, but it sure is a good one!

4. Sliding Rock

Come slip and slide down this small waterfall in the Pisgah National Forest in Asheville, NC. It is 60 feet of fun for the whole family. This natural slide is great for those hot summer days!

5. Dry Falls

Don't let the name fool you, this waterfall is quite the opposite of what it says. It is a beautiful 75-foot waterfall located in Highland NC. You are even able to walk behind the falls safely and without getting wet!
