Hi, my name is Jayden Yates and I am ten years old and I have lived on Lake Norman all my life and I have enjoyed every single day. There are lots of things that Lake Norman provides that other places do not. For an example, on the 4th of July the fireworks are so beautiful all around the lake and you can watch them off of your boat and see them light up the sky from most any cove. Lake Norman has the perfect weather, during the summer months the skies are Carolina blue and the temperature is between 87 to 90 degrees, Fahrenheit. An hour before sunset is the "Golden Hour" and it makes the color of the lake sparkling blue, it's so beautiful. There are many great homes on Lake Norman and there are many great families that come from all parts of the world that make lake Norman their home.

Most everyday there is a sunset with new brilliant colors to experience, such as pinks, reds, orange, and purple. As far as sports and activity, I never run out of things to do all year around, such as tubing with friends and family and my dog "Happy" and among other things like fishing off our dock, wake boarding, wake surfing, knee boarding, and stand up paddle boarding. There's always something fun to do for kids like me.
