Lastly, if you're worried about the cost, don't. The beach is affordable at $5 per vehicle and those living in Mecklenburg county can enjoy an additional discount at $3 per vehicle. Plan ahead for a summer of waterfront fun and purchase a season park pass at $52 for county residents and $77 for county visitors.
