Craving a Taste of Paris

Whenever you are craving a sweet treat you should swing by Charlotte’s own slice of France, the famous bakery and café called Amelie’s. It all started in 2008 with a passion for French baked good. They were an immediate success and the company took off from there. When you walk into the Amelie’s in NoDa, you immediately see eye-popping art all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling. You will also see the beautiful display case of pastries. There are different flavored macaroons, cakes, tarts, croissants and more. There is something for everyone on this menu. They also serve sandwiches and specialty drinks. The best thing about Amelie's, besides the food, is that it is open 24/7 and has free Wi-Fi. During the school year, you will see students in there with their laptops and books studying in this laid back environment. There’s plenty of seating for everyone when it comes to Amelie’s, and each room has its own personality, every time you go, you will find something new that you didn’t see last time!

The Uptown location is the newest Amelie’s location but it still has the same fun feeling. The building it is in is the biggest Amelie’s location they have and it is absolutely beautiful. It will make you feel like you were transported to France the moment you walked in the front doors.

There are a few more Amelie’s locations that weren’t mentioned and those are in Rock Hill (157 E Main St. Rock Hill, SC 29730), Atlanta (840 Mariette St. NW Atlanta, GA 30318) and Carmel Commons (7715 Pineville Matthews Road Charlotte, NC 28226). Stop in at any one of these amazing locations and you are sure to love it!
